Since 1987, San Marcos residents and visitors have enjoyed a family friendly music concert every Thursday evening during the summer months – including virtual concerts in the midst of a pandemic!

Concerts are hosted at the San Marcos Plaza Park every Thursday during the summer from 7:30pm to 9:30pm. Guests are welcome to arrive early to enjoy the park and set up. Bring your lawn chair or a blanket and, if you’d like, bring an ice chest of your favorite beverages – or you can support the local Boy Scouts by buying refreshments from their booth.

This event is produced through a partnership of the Summer in the Park 501c3 non-profit, the San Marcos Performing Arts Association, the Parks and Recreation department of the City of San Marcos, and the San Marcos Convention and Visitor’s Bureau.
